Crime, Mystery, and all Things Thrilling
The title says it all. Crime, mystery, and all things thrilling. That is exactly what CrimeReads has. CrimeReads boasts, “It’s a single, trusted source where readers can find the best writing from the worlds of crime, mystery, and thrillers—a literary culture that’s more robust than ever…. “
While researching keywords for my novel Death in her Eyes, I discovered the crime/literary culture website CrimeReads. What a wealth of information! Not only did I find my keywords, but I also discovered a source for new fiction. I have found dozens of new favorite books and new authors. Their weekly newsletter provides news and information on all things crime fiction, thrillers, suspense, and true crime.
CrimeReads is from the folks who brought us Literary Hub . CrimeReads focuses on the work of today’s best crime writers, bringing their work to the fore and providing crime, mystery, suspense, and thriller writing enthusiasts a one-stop shop for news on their favorite genres. I have come to depend on CrimeReads. Now, instead of endlessly searching Amazon, I depend on CrimeReads to point me toward my next book. I have discovered new favorite authors such as Kate Atkinson, R. J. Jacobson, and Simon Stephenson. I also enjoy content divided by genre. A drop-down menu on the site has my favorites- Mystery, Noir/Hardboiled, Espionage/Thriller, and Legal/Procedural.
I was excited to see just last week a post titled The Most Anticipated Crime Books of Fall 2022 (and Beyond!). Thanks for the heads up, CrimeReads! There are some highly anticipated works to come. I was excited to read about a new locked room mystery by R.J. Jacobs, Always the First To Die. Ala Key Largo, Always the First to Die delves into the nature of fear itself when a father goes to the Florida Keys to rescue his daughter in the midst of a hurricane. Who could choose better timing with a hurricane threatening Florida just this week.
Check out the post and CrimeReads and see what your new favorite might be.
